Internship with AIDS Community Resources
During the summer of 2005, I worked as an intern at AIDS Community Resources (ACR), a not-for-profit located in
Syracuse, New York . ACR is dedicated to stopping the spread of, preventing, and/or finding a cure for HIV/AIDS. The internship entailed working with two database programs, Microsoft Access and URS, a program mandated by the governing agency in
Albany . I performed maintenance on employees computers and help problem solve any issues they had relating to their computer systems. I value the experience I received while interning at ACR, however, I do not believe that the experience will be beneficial to me in the workforce.
